Job Impulse took StrefaJob to iOS and Android from one React Native codebase, with WAYF.
Strefajob.pl is Poland's national leader in temporary employment placement, connecting independent workers with short-term commitments across the country. Job Impulse, the staffing agency behind it, partnered with WAYF to take that experience mobile. We ran discovery, designed the product, and built it on a shared React Native codebase for iOS and Android — and continue to maintain and extend it today.

A national web platform, with no way to find or manage a job on the go.
Strefajob.pl already connected independent workers with short-term commitments across various industries throughout Poland. What it lacked was a mobile experience: a way for users to find, apply to, and manage casual jobs from their phone, in a category where opportunities move fast and workers rarely sit at a desk. Job Impulse, the staffing agency behind strefajob.pl, brought WAYF in to design and build that mobile app on top of an existing user base of 250,000+ active members.
Research and strategy first, then a design system built for handoff.
We opened with competitor analysis, benchmarking, and a moodboard to set the visual direction, backed by quantitative and qualitative research and stakeholder interviews. From there we moved into strategy: scoping, a roadmap, information architecture, user flows, and the guiding principles the rest of the build would follow.
Brand development consulting, visual explorations, typography and colours, and the key UI components came next, feeding into product design proper: wireframes, the interface itself, a design system defined as a reusable component kit, and a handoff to development with continued support through the build.

One React Native codebase, shipped natively to both iOS and Android.
The app lets users find, apply to, and manage casual jobs across 183 localities in Poland. We built it as a multi-platform React Native application, tested rigorously before launch, and shipped it to both the App Store and Google Play from a single codebase. Since launch, WAYF has continued to maintain the app and develop new features alongside Job Impulse.
The application has been widely adopted among strefajob.pl's existing base of over 250,000 active members, holding a 99.8% crash-free rate and a 5/5 rating on the Apple App Store.
